Route notes
Have breakfast at your hotel and get ready for the Ghorepani-Poon Hill trek. Your guide will pick you from your hotel after breakfast. Ulleri is the trailhead of this trek. Therefore, you will drive to Ulleri in a private jeep. It’s a very pleasant and scenic drive. The drive from Pokhara to Nayapu is on Pokhara-Baglung Highway. From Nayapul the road to Ulleri forks north to Birethanti, where you will stop for some time to complete the Annapurna Conservation Area formalities. Upon completing the formalities, you will continue to drive to Ulleri, which is a small yet very beautiful and vibrant Magar Village. About a 4 hour drive from Pokhara will take you to Ulleri, which greets you with very mesmerizing views of Annapurna South and Hiunchuli. In Ulleri, you will have your lunch, if you are hungry. Otherwise, you will start your walking journey. The nightstop today is Ghorepani, which is about 7 kilometers from Ulleri. The hike takes roughly 4 hours. It’s a pleasant hike through the forest of rhododendron and oak. Continuing the trek, walking past Banthanti and Nangee Thanti, you will reach Ghorepani, that greets you with a number of hotels, lodges, shops and teahouses providing food and accommodation to trekkers and the grand view of Annapurna South, Hiun Chuli, Machhapuchhre, Dhaulagiri as well as Nilgiri. After reaching Ghorepani, you will check into one of the lodges for dinner and overnight stay. Meals: Lunch and Dinner

Today you will witness one of the grandest mountain sunrise views in the world. For this, early in the morning, about 45 minutes to 1 hour before sunrise, you will start your hike to Poon Hill, one of the best viewpoints in the entire Annapurna region to witness mountain sunrise and mountain panorama. Therefore, when you start, it will still be dark. As you reach the viewpoint of the Poon Hill, you will be greeted by a once-in-a-lifetime view of sun rising over the two mountain ranges that also fall under the top 10 highest mountains in the world, Annapurna I and Dhaulagiri. These two ranges include peaks, such as Tukuche,Thapa Peak, Nilgiri-South, Central and North, Tilicho Peak, Patal Hiunchuli, Annapurna South, Baraha Shikhar Chuli, Singu Chuli, Tharpu Chuli, Tare Kang, Gangapurna, Annapurna III, Gandarwa Chuli, Machhapuchhre, Mardi Himal, Annapurna IV, Annapurna II as well as Lamjung Himal. You will be given some time to admire the beauty of nature, take pictures and videos and make memories. Having spent some time here, you will hike down to Ghorepani for breakfast. After a hearty breakfast in Ghorepani, your return journey begins. From Ghorepani, you will retrace the trail to Ulleri. At Ulleri you will have your lunch and drive back to Pokhara. Your guide will drop you back to your hotel in Pokhara, ending Pokhara to Pokhara Ghorepani Poon-Hill Trek with Amigo Treks and Expedition. Meals: Breakfast and Lunch
