We did our tour so we arrived at Basecamp on Jan 1 - amazing way to enter in to the new year and spend the Christmas period. The colder weather makes the tour harder, but so much more rewarding as there is stunning blue skies most days and less people on the trail meaning we could go at our own pace without congestion. Our guide Dinesh and porter Chetan were AMAZING - really helpful, supportive and we were frequently told by other tours that our guide and porter were better and more knowledgeable than their own guide even our porter was more helpful than many guides we encountered along the trail. Dinesh always made sure we had the best rooms in the tea houses and that we always were warm and had extra blankets if necessary. During our booking Niti was incredibly helpful answering all my questions and working through last minute changes to the tour without any complaint. Niti's support during early questions and fast replies was definitely why we went with Amigo in the first place. Dinesh & Chetan are the reason we'll be back and will recommend Amigo to our friends and family.
