Our group of 5 decided to embark on the Annapurna Base Camp Trek with Amigo Treks based on the cost and reviews online, and we now are satisfied customers ourselves! Everything was seamless and fuss-free from the start: communication with Tika, meeting Tika & our guide Nava the day before the trek, and throughout the entire 8-day trek. I will like to specially commend Nava for his attentiveness and professionalism. We have no problem communicating in English. As an experienced guide he possessed knowledge of the various treks through Nepal, accurate information on how much longer we have to walk for the day and encouraged us each step of the way. He ensured we felt okay and were well-fed. I had a bad headache in the middle of the night at base camp and Nava didn't mind me waking him up for some medication. Even after the trek he assisted with accommodation at Pokhara when we decided last minute to extend our stay, made our bus bookings and met us on his off-day back in Thamel to bring us shopping for some gear! Our team of porters were excellent as well; Sudip and Deepak were full of energy and smiles, and made sure we have our backpacks at the end of each day. Nabaraj as an assistant guide was also excellent, walking with us and helping with meal orders. The rapport among the entire team was good and we had much fun and laughter sharing snacks, stories and mingling! Thank you Amigo Treks, we are glad to have made it to base camp with this team and when we are back in Nepal for more trekking we would be looking forward to share the adventure with Nava, Nabaraj, Sudip and Deepak again!
