15 days trek to EVEREST BASE CAMP including crossing CHOLA PASS. My colleague Herbert and I from Innsbruck/Austria have booked a trek in Nepal (Solukhumbu) for October 2018. Our guide NARAYAN from Amigo Treks has already picked us up at the airport in Kathmandu and accompanied us to the hotel in Thamel. NARAYAN then organized the flight to LUKLA and so we flew together to LUKLA, where we met our porter NABI. From then on we were a good team of four for the next 15 days. We were very well looked after and had everything we needed. We climbed higher and higher and so we had no problem with the altitude to the Everest Base Camp. We climbed easily the KALA PATTHAR from where we had a terrific view of Luptse and Mt. Everest. The highlight was the day tour from ZONGLA to THAKNAG with the crossing of the CHOLA PASS. So we could go over GOKYO another valley back to NAMCHE BAZAR. It was a very successful trekking tour for us and I can very much recommend the guide NARAYAN and the porter NABI!
